Hello!

I'm Jacklyn, or Jackie since we’re friends now.

 

I have a bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, and I’m in the process of obtaining my master’s degree in New Media Journalism. I’ve been published on the Scarlet Leaf Review and ScreenRant.com, among a few others. I write everything from reviews, features.

 

I knew I wanted to become a writer. After finishing my bachelor's, I landed a freelance features writing gig, it had opened the door to a career I hadn’t considered.

When I'm not writing, I'm attempting to catch up on my very long TBR (to be read) list while getting comfortable on the couch with a warm cup of tea, oolong is the best. I also have a unique collection of oddities and taxidermized entomology.
